Why do girls have to be so complicating?

I've been talking to someone for about a month now but she doesn't want to date just yet and I respect that fact. But, she didn't care for my beard and gauged ears. So I trimmed the beard and put plugs in and she liked it. She would complain 24/7 if I didn't. Then another old friend popped up in the picture and she didn't too much care how I looked but wants to start talking again but doesn't like my bad *** appearance and wants me to dress more like a country boy??? What the f**k? I can't make them happy 24/7. I don't care for the country boy look and I like to have my beard grown out... I don't really know what to do or who to choose... It doesn't help i don't like to hurt people and/or piss them off in the process because they hate each others guts with a burning passion. Help? Please
