Yahoo IM will not allow me to change or update my default display pic. Working normally before. Any answers?

I've un-installed and reinstalled and it still won't allow me to change/update my default picture. It allows me to select a new or existing picture as it normally would, but when I click share picture and close out it doesn't update. Is this a yahoo IM problem going around? I have the latest version of Yahoo Chat and again, never had this issue before. It just happened all of a sudden and has been ongoing for over 48 hours. Very annoying! Can any of my cyber friends help me with this in detail? Thanks Dolls & Gents!
