Do girls get turned on by guys that sing?

Okay so I'm a guy and since I just got my summer vacation and when I'm bout to enter 8th grade I want to TOTALLY change my style/reputation in school. I was thinkin on being a punky,(not crazy,or the jerk kinds)sweet,sensitive, mysterious kind of guy. A guy that has moderately longish black hair that covers my right eye, and that also plays guitar and sings punky indie rock songs. ( like Asian Kung Fu Generation) Part of the reason y I want to start singing the songs is to try and get girls. So I was wondering do girls in middle school go crazy over guys that sing indie rock songs and has a sensitive, mysterious,bold personality? I would Realllly appreciate ur answers and points go to the best one! =]
